Glug gløgg glug

Christmas is on its way! 1st of December marked the beginning of Advent and I am now allowing myself to start buying Christmas related items, including food, drink and even crafts. Some of which I’ll be sharing with you over the next few weeks.

I’ve set it upon myself to drink a cup of gløgg every night until Christmas Eve. Gløgg is a type of mulled wine, a syrupy drink with a strong blackcurrant taste. I usually add 1 part gløgg to 4-5 parts boiling water (it’s better to let it heat over a pot), along with a few almonds and raisins for that extra yummy flavoury kick. Gløgg can also be served with red wine and is usually done so at Christmas events.
